LIFE IS BACKWARD

Why is it that all important decisions and events in life occur at a time when we are least prepared to make a good decision. We choose as spouse when we are too young to see that marriage is difficult and that the person best suited to live a life with might be the responsible one and not the exciting one. We make that decision before we realize that people really never change their natural character. We can't find wisdom until all the mistakes have already been made even though wisdom was meant to help avoid those mistakes in the first place.If only I knew then what I know now. And there are those who have found wisdom who sit by helplessly watching fools make their mistakes. The fool never listens otherwise he would be wise and not a fool. We have to decide a career before we truly know what responsibilities that career involves.We only see that career advancement and learning new things is nothing to fear after we have wasted 10 years in mediocrity. Even in our Christian beliefs we run around doing and saying so many silly and incorrect things based on incorrect views of God and bad theology based on ignorance of God's word.When we finally understand what is true we are old and tired or busy with work and family with no free time. Seek wisdom. Use what little you have. Humility will find wisdom. Don't forget to use your brain - everything sounds true and reasonable the first time you hear it.
