TRAINING PEOPLE TO BE JERKS

 The people in society that yell the loudest , the obnoxious , the ignorant , those that would like the world to revolve around their stupidity, to jump at their trite inconveniences , wanting all to accommodate their preferences are the ones that rules and policy and law is made to accommodate. The civil level headed intelligent people that simply mind their own business each day are simply ignored. The media feeds these people because they always provide a good story. " My rights are being violated and people are prejudiced and everyone is picking on me!" It does not even matter if their complaint is valid. Then only thing that matters is they are loud and make good headlines.
 Even in retail this holds true. The customer that complains gets what they want (and a gift card to shut them up) while normal people accept things as they are and peacefully go on their way. If someone makes a big enough scene more often than not they can get a manager to violate some store policy and if they cant get the manager to do it the cooperate office sure will. Then the manager gets a reprimand from cooperate office for not taking care of this valuable customer.
 Can it ever be appropriate in society to tell these overreacting people to lighten up, to tell them NO and stand your ground. Otherwise we are training people to be jerks.
